Saniflo is installed correctly it should give you many years of
excellent service.
Please take
a little time now to look at the
GOLDEN RULES OF INSTALLATION
If your proposed installation cannot follow the rules then do
not buy a unit,
It will only cause you endless problems.
Once
you have determined that one of the Saniflo units WILL be
suitable then give us a call and we will assist you further.
Saniflo
Systems are supplied with a 2 year warranty supported by a
UK wide network of 140 Saniflo Engineers.

All
units will pump
HORIZONTALLY or
VERTICALLY or a
combination.
For
SANICONDENS units
please give us a call to discuss the application.
1.
The UNITS are NOT
designed to pump LEVEL
or UPHILL. i.e. CANNOT
pump on an UPHILL
GRADIENT away from the machine.
2.
After any initial “VERTICAL” lift, the discharge pipework MUST
NOT then lift again anywhere in the run.
3.
All “VERTICAL” lifts must begin within 300mm of the unit
and MUST PRECEDE any “HORIZONTAL” run.
4.
All “HORIZONTAL” runs must have a minimum 1 in 100 (10mm
per Metre)
fall away from the unit “DOWNHILL”

NB: The GREATER the FALL the BETTER!
5.
All changes of direction must be made using SLOW RADIUS
BENDS which can be
two off-set
bends in plastic or pulled bends in copper to make 92½°
angle.
6.
Use either Solvent Weld Rigid Plastic or Copper Discharge
Pipework.
7.
All EXTERNAL Pipework MUST
be insulated with appropriate lagging materials.
VENTING:
Most Saniflo units have an
integral carbon filter.
CLEANING:
Details of easy in-situ
maintenance supplied with every unit.
HOT WATER:
Designed to accept water up to 90°c for 2 minutes. Not
boiling water.
(NOTE: If the unit pumps very hot water for a prolonged
period
it will automatically cut out and protect the motor.
When cool it will begin to pump again automatically)
UNITS
ARE NOT DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH WASTE DISPOSAL UNITS or TO
DISPOSE OF CAUSTIC ACID OR SOLVENT WASTE
(i.e. NO
CHEMICALS)
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
1. All Saniflo units
require a 220/240 volt single phase AC/50 Hz supply.
2. Wire into a 5 Amp un-switched fused spur - NOT a conventional
socket
3. All work on the cable, pressure chamber and motor should only
be carried out by a qualified Saniflo Service Engineer in
compliance with relevant electrical regulations.
